What Relay does

Meet Relay, Oroe's inbox for your email accounts and Facebook Messenger: what it handles today, what it doesn't yet, and how to find your way around.

Relay in one minute

Relay brings your customer conversations into one place. Connect your business email accounts and your Facebook Pages, and every new message lands in one inbox where you can read it, reply to it and mark where it stands, so nothing slips through because it was sitting in a mailbox you forgot to check.

Today the inbox is personal: each person sees the mailboxes and Pages they connected themselves. Sharing a mailbox with colleagues and assigning conversations aren’t available yet.

Relay handles two channels today:

Channel What you connect What you can do
Email A Gmail account, or any mailbox that supports IMAP Read threads, reply, write new emails, set a status and priority
Messenger The Facebook Pages you manage Read and reply to text messages from customers

How it fits into Oroe

Oroe is a business suite for service businesses. Cue builds your website, Nest keeps your customers, Relay holds your conversations, Pulse holds your documents and Tron runs your AI agents.

You sign in once with your Oroe account, and Relay uses the same workspace and team as the rest of the suite. If you use Tron, its chat agent can answer Messenger conversations through Relay for you. See Tron for how to set that up.

What you’ll find in Relay

The menu on the left has four places:

Setting up, in order

  1. Connect your email so Relay can bring your messages in.
  2. Set up sending with SMTP so you can reply. Relay needs this step before any email can go out.
  3. Connect Facebook Messenger if your customers message your Page.
  4. Invite your team and choose what each person can change.

Tip New to Oroe? Start with Getting started to create your account and workspace first.
